Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Salvadoran-American cellist Roberto Arundale currently lives in Boulder, Colorado where he is pursuing his DMA under David Requiro at CU Boulder. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his Master’s degree in Cello Performance & Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music. As a Suzuki certified instructor, Roberto has enjoyed teaching privately in Cleveland and Boulder as well as at the Aspen Music Festival & School as part of the P.A.L.S. program. After a four-year hiatus, Roberto is delighted to return to the Bowdoin International Music Festival for his sixth summer of music making and delicious lobster.
