Grace Bell

Grace Bell, a native of Blue Hill, Maine, grew up attending concerts at Kneisel Hall, which inspired her cello studies and love of chamber music. She participated in Kneisel’s chamber music program for Maine students for eight summers and studied privately with George Sopkin, founding cellist of the Fine Arts Quartet.

Before joining the Festival in 2018, Bell worked in advancement at Bates College for four years. At Bates, she worked with alumni volunteers to plan and execute class giving and engagement strategies, managed Bates’ annual giving challenge, and managed marketing, logistics, and programming for Reunion events.

Bell received her B.A. from Middlebury College and lives in Portland.
