Libby Meade

Libby Meade is a student of viola performance and political science at Vanderbilt University where she will begin her second year in the fall. She has pursued her musical instruction at many incredible festivals and programs such as Bowdoin, and is now a member of Vanderbilt’s University Orchestra. Meade has been afforded prestigious performance opportunities including performing with the National Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Konzerthaus Berlin, and KKL Luzern. Back in her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, she has gained administrative experience working as an assistant teacher in youth ensembles and classes at the Omaha Conservatory of music, as well as running a private studio for beginner violinists.
