Michelle Boisvert

Michelle Boisvert is a rising junior at the University of Michigan studying Computer Engineering. Michelle grew up studying the cello and piano and was involved in youth orchestras until college. Her high school senior project helped her realize one of her passions is bridging her artistic interest in music with her technical interest in engineering. Outside of school, she is a member of Big Ticket Productions, an organization created to foster a music community in Michigan by sponsoring musical concerts and showcasing student musicians. During her free time, she enjoys discovering new music and emulating sounds when she creates her own. Additionally, she loves to spend her time out in nature, cooking up a new recipe, or discovering a new creative hobby such as sewing or painting. This is Michelle’s first year at the Bowdoin International Music Festival and she is excited for this summer experience.
