Taylor Hussey

Taylor Hussey (they/them) is a musician and educator based in the southwest region of New Hampshire, where they direct marching, jazz, and concert band for grades 7-12. An active member of the New Hampshire Music Educators Association and New Hampshire Band Directors Association, they are an advocate for wind ensemble and band music across the state, co-founding the Monadnock Wind Ensemble in 2024 to bring high level music for chamber winds to the region. During their time at the University of New Hampshire, they served as chief of the Fellowship Crew, live streaming Music Department events and coordinating event staff. They look forward to their third summer here at the Bowdoin International Music Festival.
