Praised by Palm Beach Daily News as a pianist who “has a fluent technique, sensitive musicianship and a probing intellect”, Dr. Lan is a winner of competitions including Junior Original Composition International Competition, Taiwan Classical Music Society Young Star Audition, Golden Key International Honour Society Performing Arts Showcase Award, Canadian Broadcast Corporation National Debut, Richmond Festival Gala Grand Prize, and the nationwide Concours de Musique du Canada. Dr. Lan has concertized across the US, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Mexico, France, Thailand, Estonia, Finland, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Croatia, and Slovenia, at prestigious venues such as the Carnegie Hall in New York, Victoria Hall in Singapore, Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, Temppeliaukio Kirkk in Helsinki, and National Concert Hall in Taipei. Season highlights include debut concert in Hungary. Her highly acclaimed performances have been featured at WLRN-Public Television “Beethoven & Mas” program, “Beethoven Universal TV” series, Becon TV “On Stage with Iris Acker”, Fu-Hsin Broadcasting Station, and CBC Radio’s “Westcoast Performance” Debut series. 

A soloist with Milwaukee Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Sinfonia of the North Shore, British-Columbia Chamber, University of British-Columbia Symphony, Braddell Heights Symphony, Frost Symphony, Fifth Avenue Chamber, Edmonton Symphony, Palm Beach Atlantic Symphony, and Bergonzi String Quartet, Dr. Lan performs as Duo Beaux Arts with Steinway Artist, Tao Lin, and collaborates with distinguished artists and ensembles including James Buswells, David Requiro, Ayano Ninomiya, Aspen String Trio, Henschel String Quartet, Delray String Quartet, Naples Philharmonic and Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia Chamber Players. She is also the pianist at Duo Arpeggione, Duo Formosa, Delray Piano Trio, Atlantic Piano Trio, Tallinn Piano Trio, Beaux Arts Ensemble, and Astralis Chamber Ensemble. Received her Bachelor of Music from University of British-Columbia, Master of Music from Indiana University (Bloomington), and Doctor of Musical Arts from University of Miami, Dr. Lan not only conducts master classes in the USA, Singapore, and Thailand, but also serves on the faculty of Broward College. She runs non-for-profit organizations as the co-artistic director of Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series, co-founding member of Chrysalis Chamber Players and co-artistic director of Rosemary Duffy Larson Classical Series.
