Isaac Berglind, a 25-year-old cellist from Newcastle, WA, is currently completing graduate studies at the New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Paul Katz. He graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a BM in cello performance, and the Glenn L. and Frances Harris Prize, where he studied with David Ying. Additionally, Isaac has been a 2019, 2020, and 2021 Tanglewood Music Center fellow, a 2020 New York String Orchestra Seminar participant, and a 2022 Taos School of Music young artist. He previously studied with Efe Baltacigil and Janice Lee, and has participated in masterclasses with Yo-Yo Ma, Antonio Meneses, Darrett Adkins, Paul Katz, Norman Fischer, and David Geber. When not practicing, Isaac maintains a full online teaching studio, and is the Blogmaster for CelloBello.org.
