Flutist Leo Sussman strives to build community by sharing his passion for musical engagement, inspiring listeners with both new and familiar sounds. Recent appearances include a concerto performance with the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra, new music concerts at National Sawdust and Electronic Music Midwest, and summers at the Norfolk and Banff Centre chamber music festivals. Also a dedicated educator, Leo is a teaching artist in the New Haven public schools. Leo studies with Ransom Wilson at Yale School of Music. He holds undergraduate degrees in flute and physics from Lawrence University where he studied with Erin Lesser.
