ABOUT THE ARTIST
Stephen Roessner is a Grammy Award-winning audio engineer and Lecturer at The University of Rochester. For many years, he was a recording engineer at The Juilliard School where he worked with students and luminaries of the school. Since leaving Juilliard, Stephen has been an architect of creating the new Audio & Music Engineering program at The University of Rochester, where students are immersed in an environment of electrical engineering theory and audio practices. He has been an invited lecturer at Birmingham City University (Birmingham, UK), Fredonia State University (Fredonia, NY), and at multiple Audio Engineering Society conventions. He also has a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance, and has toured the world as a drummer with Saxon Shore, Fuzzrod, and League. Stephen lives in Rochester, NY where he runs his own audio production studio, Calibrated Sound.
